Born in Barcelona in 1956, she graduated in Fine Arts at the Universidad de Barcelona. She currently paints, an activity she combines with teaching at the Escuela Llotja in Barcelona and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she gives seminars.

Since the beginning of her career she has exhibited both in Spanish and international art galleries (United States, Austria and Switzerland). She has also taken part in prestigious contemporary art fairs such as ARCO in Madrid.

Her work is present in important public collections such as the Institut d'Estudis Catalans, Barcelona; the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona; the Museu d´Art in Sabadell and the Banco de Sabadell, Barcelona; the Banque Société Générale, Paris; the Graz Congress Center, Vienna; as well as various private collections in Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and the United States.
