J. Dávila (Pontevedra, 1963) studied at the Escuela Massana in Barcelona, specialising in sculpture at Ulster University (Ireland) and complementing his studies afterwards with various courses in ceramics. Since then he has dedicated himself professionally to creating sculptural pieces, his main material being ceramics, with iron and wire as secondary materials.
Since he started his career, he has taken part in individual and collective exhibitions in different art galleries and organisations both in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, Santiago de Compostela) and abroad, of note being his exhibitions in France and Brussels. He also often takes part in biannual art events related to ceramics. |
