Born in Barcelona in 1953, he studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes of the same city. Since he started his career, he has won several prestigious painting awards. Throughout his professional trajectory, he has exhibited both in Spain and abroad, of particular note being his exhibitions in Los Angeles, London, Chicago and Japan. His work is present in leading private collections.

With a fast, colourful line, the aim of the artist has been to paint the city of Madrid as a cosmopolitan, human city, adding to the urban landscape elements such as trees and pedestrians. With a free-flowing brush and light effects based on contrast and patches of colour, he achieves a special atmosphere within a figured composition of the city's architecture.
