Leonard Beard (Coventry, Great Britain, 1962), has pursued his artistic career in Spain where he has lived and worked for many years. A self-taught artist, he started to exhibit individually at the beginning of the eighties. Since 1985 he has regularly exhibited in Barcelona at the Galería Arteunida (1987), the prestigious Sala Parés (1991, 1994), at the Galería Trama (1995, 1996) and at the Galería Mª José Castellví (2002), as well as at other Spanish galleries. He has also taken part in collective exhibitions in the United States, Italy, Greece and Japan. He is currently producing illustrations for different media in Spain.
