Born in Barcelona, she studied at the Sant Jordi Fine Arts Faculty and the Paris Fine Arts Faculty. A multidisciplinary artist, Maria Roca has worked in different fields such as painting, engraving, jewellery, tapestries and silk printing. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Spain, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Italy and Germany and has also formed part of different public and private collections, such as the Vercelli Art Museum and the Museo Internazionalle de Venezia (Italy); the Banco Vitalicio (Logroño); and the Fondo de Arte de la Fundación Juan March (Madrid), among others. In the field of textile prints, she has collaborated with designers of brands as prestigious as Giorgio Armani, Loewe, Adolfo Domínguez and Joaquim Verdu. Over the last few years, she has dedicated herself to research in therapeutic and artistic fields.
