On acquiring its 100th building in Madrid, located right in the heart of the city, the company Restaura held a commemorative act in the Casa de América, attended by numerous famous people from the world of politics and business.
Avantgarde was commissioned to conceive and produce a large-format commemorative piece of artistic decoration, as well as to create the invitation for this event. The artist Alfredo was chosen for the creative part, as he is a prestigious artist and knows the city very well, being where he lives and works.
This unique piece had to function as a model showing the company's most emblematic buildings in Madrid in a single glance, all located in the right zones and illustrated in an original and distinctive way.
This model consisted of a large printed plate of glass measuring 1.20 x 1 metre, displayed on a varnished wooden stand. A curtain in the corporate colours covered the whole piece, to be unveiled during the presentation ceremony.
The highlight of the event was when the Mayor of Madrid, Mr. D. Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, unveiled the glass piece before Restaura's guests.
