In Catalonia, it is traditional on the 23rd of April to give a book or a rose to commemorate St. George's Day, following the legend of St. George and the dragon. For this reason, Televisió de Catalunya decided to present an artistic gift to its clients and contacts that would include both elements, with the rose being an artistic piece that could act as a souvenir after the event. Right from the start, the sensitivity of the artist chosen, C. Miquel, captivated this idea and he created the artistic gift in the form of a serigraph, perfectly symbolising the red rose that is so characteristic of this day. All the pieces were signed and numbered by the artist. The gift was presented in a personalised matching red folder with a certificate of authenticity. |
