Dragon and "Park Güell"

The genius and architect, Antonio Gaudí, not only created this park in Barcelona following the English tradition of the picturesque style respecting nature, but was also inspired by Greco-Roman architecture and its myths to create the park's decorative elements, such as the dragon located at the entrance. We asked the artist, Castignani, to recreate this image in an original engraving using etching and aquatint techniques, which the firm A. Menarini Diagnostics gave to its clients and contacts as an artistic gift and souvenir of the city. |
